Researching Social Movements to Understand Their Impact

Home: Welcome
About Social Change Lab

We conduct empirical research on people-powered social movements. Through research reports, workshops, and trainings, we share our findings with a wide public, providing insights to help movements be more effective.

How can social movements be more effective? We approach this question through three key themes:

Strategy: How do different strategies and tactics affect the likelihood of success?

Resources: What resources do movements need to be effective and how can they best access them?

Organisation: How do different ways of organising affect outcomes?
